Thank you for considering Humble Roots Farm for your next dairy goat!  Please take a moment to read through our policies. We’ve created them to protect both you and the animals we raise with such care. Please reach out to inquire about goats for sale or to make breeding reservations.

 HEALTH & CARE

Our kids are bottle raised to support early socialization, easier handling, and longterm udder health in our does. Kids will be fully vaccinated with CDT and BoSe prior to leaving the farm.

Please be prepared to continue bottle feeding after pickup. We are always happy to provide guidance to help ensure a smooth transition.

Because goats are herd animals, we strongly encourage purchasing kids in pairs whenever possible. Pair discounts may be available.

PAYMENT & PICKUP

Kids are available beginning at 4 weeks of age and must be paid in full prior to leaving the farm.

We do not release kids before 4 weeks old. A boarding fee may apply to animals remaining beyond 6 weeks unless prior arrangements have been made.

WETHERING POLICY

Pet wethers may return to the farm for complimentary banding at 12 weeks of age. We kindly ask that kids not be wethered earlier, as proper development is important for long-term health and growth.

HEALTH GUARANTEE

Animals are sold healthy to the best of our knowledge at the time of sale. Because stress and environmental changes can impact health after departure, we cannot guarantee animals once they leave the farm.

SALES FINAL

Please be certain you are prepared to care for your new goat(s) before placing a reservation.

In some circumstances, we may accept returned animals back to the farm without refund. Returned animals must come from herds with recent clean biosecurity testing.
